Sourced for Taurus Wines by Master of Wine Michael Palij, Count Saladini Pilastri’s fully organic farm began 300 years ago. Falerio is (whisper it) an antidote to uninspiring Pinot Grigio, and this 'field blend' of Trebbiano, Pecorino and Passerina hails from the rolling hills of the Marche, located at the calf of Italy’s boot.

Crisp and lively and full of the joys of spring, it charms with its notes of chamomile, green apple, lemon oil and almond. Food-friendly as they come, its easy-going qualities match well with antipasti, making it the ideal aperitivo wine along with nocellara olives and salted almonds. Or we also love it with creamy pasta dishes such as spaghetti alfredo, a naughty cream-laced carbonara or creamy lemon and prawn tagliatelle.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
