Tom Lubbe of Matassa is a natural wine trailblazer in Roussillon, with deep roots at Domaine Gauby, the OG of the region’s natural wine scene. His influence is undeniable, shaping a new wave of third-gen natural winemakers who flock to him for mentorship. This Vin de France blanc is Matassa’s flagship white, a blend of nearly century-old Grenache Gris and Macabeu. The Grenache Gris gets a whole-cluster press, while the Macabeu sees a two-week maceration. They come together in a massive 2000L oak foudre for fermentation and aging. The result? Aromatic, structured, and deceptively light—a wine that shows exactly why Matassa has become a benchmark over the last two decades. If you’ve got the patience, this is one to age.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:

Machine wash separately in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry separately on low heat. Add QE Home Wool Dryer Balls to reduce wrinkles and increases drying efficiency. Touch up with a low heat iron as needed. Do not bleach or dry clean.
