The 2021 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley pours a deep red, with ripe and expressive aromas of classic appeal, including cola spice, saturated black cherry, and damp forest floor. Ripe with red plum that is forward on the palate, it reveals a note of black tea, angular, ripe tannins, and turned earth. It’s ripe and meaty, with a good sense of place. Drink it over the next few years.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Russian River, matured for 10 months in 30% new French oak, is scented of red and black cherries, woodsmoke, pipe tobacco, earth and potpourri. The medium-bodied palate has a concentrated core of earthy fruit, slightly rustic tannins, fresh acidity and a woodsmoke-laced finish. 5,500 cases produced.

The Green Valley AVA, as well as the neighborhoods of The Laguna, Santa Rosa Plains and Sebastopol Hills are brought together to showcase the classic dark cherry and cola notes that Russian River Valley Pinot Noirs exhibit in spades.
